The Middlesex London Primary Care Network (MLPCN) is your legitimate and powerful advocate in the healthcare system. Formally funded by Ontario Health through the Middlesex London Ontario Health Team, we represent family physicians, nurse practitioners, and all those who have a stake in our primary care network. This allows primary care to be a robust, persuasive, and effective system partner that speaks with the strong voice it deserves.
We speak as a strong, unified voice to improve patient and provider experience
by influencing decision-making on issues that affect primary care; providing strategic guidance on determining priorities within our health system; being the representative body for primary care within our Ontario Health Team; and exerting pressure for change to address problem points.
We provide a ‘home’ for primary care, to foster community, camaraderie, connection, and CME through opportunities to participate as a primary care leader, town halls, newsletters, group communication channels through Teams and WhatsApp, leadership training opportunities, and other primary care events.
We support your practice in numerous ways with centralized access to clinical resources relevant to primary care; access to resources to reduce administrative burden, including AI Scribe discounts, bulk purchasing discounts, and all-inclusive virtual MOA staffing solution; connection with OHT initiatives that support primary care such as SCOPE, Online Appointment Booking, Integrated Clinical Pathways, Chronic Disease and Prevention Management; Navigation Services, Population Health Support; and assistance with recruitment and retention of providers, and other issues surrounding access to primary care.
To be effective in representing the primary care sector, we need to know our membership. Confirming your membership enables us to understand who and where our PCN members are. This enables us to represent your needs, to inform you about opportunities to add your voice, to hear your opinion on issues, and to share opportunities for you to get involved.
