Past event: Regional Academic Summit

The 2025 Regional Academic Summit begins on Thursday evening with a keynote by Professor Emma Watson, Medical Director of NHS Scotland and an internationally recognized leader in rural medical education.

Friday offers a full day of conference-style sessions covering clinical and educational topics.

This activity meets CFPC certification criteria and is accredited by Continuing Professional Development, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, for up to 7.75 Mainpro+® Certified Activity credits.
It is also an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) under the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (max 7.75 hours).
