By attending this activity, participants will be able to:
• Review and evaluate the implementation of HPV testing in Ontario, highlighting key changes and lessons learned in screening, colposcopy, and clinical practice improvements.
• Explore recommendations and rationale for expanding HPV immunization programs, focusing on both age-based and risk-based approaches to increase vaccine coverage and impact.
• Examine current practices and future directions for self-collected HPV testing, assessing its potential for improving accessibility, patient autonomy, and screening participation.
• Enhance understanding of patient-centered care in colposcopy and gynecology, including approaches to analgesia, communication, education, and measurement of patient satisfaction and reported outcomes.
• Discuss current evidence and clinical guidelines on the management of lower genital tract dysplasia and vulvovaginal disorders, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches and best practices in family practice and specialist settings.
